Job Description:
NESCO Resource is currently seeking an experience Aerospace -
IPC-A, FAI -Quality Inspector -for a permanent position in -Tucson,
Arizona. Must be local for ONSITE Interview -FAA Quality Inspector
II inspects a range of analog and digital components, optical parts
and/or products for the area assigned as prescribed by all
applicable specifications and quality assurance Instructions.
Identifies moderately difficult quality issues in design, process
or other inefficiencies to meet quality requirements. -Must have
intricate knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
(GD&T), assembly drawings, parts lists, workmanship standards,
standard inspection procedures (IPC-A-610), M.O.'s, wiring diagrams
and be able to add tolerances using decimals, etc. Must Have
experience with electronic hadware systems and - (FAI) 1st article
inspection required. - -Responsibilities - - -
- Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on
products, materials and components at various stages of the
production process to ensure compliance with established quality
and reliability standards
- Physical and visual inspection of parts and materials.
- Visual inspections of soldered assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class 3
standards, and harness assemblies.
- Read specifications and technical drawings with multiple
views.
- Locate and utilize correct part, assembly, and material
specifications or drawings.
- Use tolerances and dimensions to required accuracy and
precision.
- Verify and determine acceptability of parts and material to
written standards.
- Participates in analysis statistical data from processes to
either confirm compliance with established standards or identify
deviations from standards
- Performs visual inspections of soldered connections, mechanical
inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and
subassemblies
- Prepares and completes all necessary documentation for
reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested
items
- Identifies design, process or other inefficiencies and reports
quality concerns and issues
- Performs routine quality inspections on engineering designs,
assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies and tooling
- Conducts Internal audits and corrective action follow ups
- Write discrepancy reports and complete inspection
documentation. - - -Education -: A Secondary Certificate/High
School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and
work experience that will allow successful performance of job
expectations. - - -Required Qualifications: - - -
- Relevant Electronics Industry (Aerospace AND Electronics
environments preferred)
- Must be able to interpret and follow engineering drawings,
charts, diagrams, and sketches
- Apply a systematic QA approach while using existing procedures
to solve a range of technical issues
- Proficient in First Article Inspection; -IPC-A-610 and/or
-IPC-A-620 specifications
- Understand and apply GD&T, -track and confirm the final
inspection of product
- Perform continuous uninterrupted visual inspections, with and
without magnifying devices.
- Use hand tools, measuring devices, and magnifying devices (e.g.
gauges, calipers, rulers.)
- Punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and
weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as
necessary
- Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent
combination of relevant education and work experience -** This
