Job Description:
Golf Course Spray Technician The Golf Course Spray Technician is responsible for assisting in
the maintenance the golf course. They help diagnose specific
diseases and treat insects that affect critical areas of the
course. As well as identify and treat unwanted vegetation, using
both preventative and curative methods. Responsibilities * Operates powered equipment in mowing golf course putting
greens, aprons, and tees * Waters and fertilizes putting greens,
tees, fairways, and roughs * Grades and prepares a soil plant bed,
lays sod, plants, vegetative material, and seeds putting greens,
tees, fairways, and roughs * Sometimes changes cups and tee markers
* Operates light equipment in hauling materials Job Requirements * 2+ years experience on a golf course maintenance team *
Ability to obtain a pesticide applicators certificate * Must be
able to lift boxes and bags that can be bulky and heavy
