The Broiler Cook is responsible for preparing a variety of meats and entrees with expertise under the guidance of our celebrated chefs. This position requires a dedicated individual who can thrive under pressure and maintain Marriotts standard of excellence and service in every dish prepared. Prepare and cook all meats, including steaks and other high-end entrees, to specified Marriott standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment at all times. Monitor kitchen inventory and report any low-stock items to the kitchen manager. Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations as per industry standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and timely preparation of all dishes. Regularly check equipment and machinery for any maintenance needs. Proficiency in operating large-volume cooking equipment such as broilers, grills, and fryers. Strong understanding of meat preparation techniques and culinary expertise in meat cuts. Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure kitchen environment. Keen attention to detail and quality control.
