Job Description Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System (SAVAHCS)
in Tucson, Arizona is currently looking for an Addiction
Psychiatrist. Position Information: The Substance Use Disorder
Treatment program utilizes social workers, psychologist, addiction
therapists, and peer supports to provide evidence-based therapies.
The program has implemented contingency management, and harm
reduction. SAVAHCS has access to numerous medications for substance
use disorders, and contracts with a local behavioral health clinic
to provide methadone. This position provides an excellent teaching,
research, and publications opportunities for mental health care
services, supported with all the available resources.
