Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or a valid Compact
RN license (Arizona RN required before first shift) - BLS and ACLS
certifications required prior to first shift - Minimum 2 years
recent bedside clinical experience with ICU or critical care
background - Proven ICU experience and comfort managing ventilators
and high-risk airways, including ET tubes - Proficiency titrating
critical drips (e.g., Propofol, Fentanyl, Levophed
[norepinephrine], Precedex, Versed, Vasopressin) - Experience with
complex wound care and wound vac management - Strong clinical
assessment, care planning, and EMR documentation skills - Weekend
availability required - Ability to work autonomously on night shift
and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Primary
Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within
8 hours of admission and develop individualized LTAC care plans -
Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assess,
plan, implement, and evaluate for high-acuity patients - Manage
ventilators, titrate drips per protocol, and monitor hemodynamic
status for critical care patients - Provide complex wound care,
including wound vac application and maintenance - Document
assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and
timely in the EMR - Communicate changes in patient status to
physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and
safety - Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, weekly
team conferences, and discharge planning from admission - Supervise
and support LPNs, CNAs, and orientees; delegate tasks and provide
mentorship - Promote a culture of safety, including safe patient
handling, infection prevention, and hazard reporting - Assume
charge responsibilities after orientation as needed and engage in
