Job Description:
Sonora Quest Laboratories, a collaborative endeavor between
Banner Health and Quest Diagnostics, is seeking a Director of
Clinical Operations to oversee our diagnostic testing services in
Arizona. The role demands a seasoned leader capable of enhancing
operational efficiency while steadfastly upholding the highest
standards of laboratory practices. The Director will play a pivotal
role in strategic planning, team leadership, and fostering
partnerships to meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers and
patients through innovative diagnostics solutions. Oversee daily
operations of multiple laboratory facilities within Arizona to
ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Develop and
implement policies and procedures that enhance service quality and
operational efficiency. Manage senior laboratory staff, fostering a
culture of professionalism and continuous improvement. Collaborate
with healthcare providers and organizational leadership to develop
strategies that enhance patient care through superior diagnostic
services. Budget management, including the monitoring of financial
performance and adjusting strategies to meet fiscal objectives.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and
technologies to adapt and integrate advancements in laboratory
operations. Proven leadership in clinical or laboratory settings
Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Expertise in regulatory
compliance pertaining to healthcare and laboratory operations
Capacity to manage high-stress situations and make critical
decisions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
(MLS) by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or
equivalent is preferred. Additional certifications in healthcare
management or leadership are advantageous.
