Combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department Experience
Description: The position involves working in a fast-paced
emergency room environment. Registered Nurses will provide care for
patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. The shift will
be three 12-hour night shifts. The RN will be required to work
every other weekend. The required patient ratio is 1:2-3.
Candidates must have the ability to float within the Emergency
Department as needed. Charting will be conducted using MedHost and
EDIS systems. Experience in trauma care is essential. All
candidates must submit verified licenses and certifications for
review. Travelers must be comfortable working in a rural critical
access hospital setting. This role requires strong assessment and
critical thinking skills. Candidates should possess experience in
managing various emergency conditions and procedures. Assessing,
monitoring, and providing emergency care to patients with diverse
needs is crucial. Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support
services is expected. There will be no on-call requirements for
this position. Weekend and holiday work may be included in the
