Job Description Job Description Dispatch Specialist LHH Recruitment is partnering with a company in Tempe who is in search of an emergency dispatch specialist. This job will require you to be flexible on schedule, both days of the week AND hours worked. The range of salary is between $40,000-$55,000 DOE. This role is responsible for receiving emergency and non-emergency calls, prioritizing incidents, and dispatching appropriate personnel while maintaining calm, accuracy, and professionalism at all times. Key Responsibilities: Receive, assess, and prioritize incoming emergency medical transportation related calls Dispatch emergency services promptly and accurately according to established protocols Maintain constant communication with field personnel and provide updates as needed Accurately document call details, actions taken, and outcomes in dispatch systems Monitor multiple communication channels simultaneously Remain calm and effective during high-stress and emergency situations Follow all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies Required Qualifications: Prior 911 or emergency dispatch experience is required Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts Strong verbal communication and active listening skills Ability to multitask and make quick, sound decisions under pressure Proficiency with dispatch software, CAD systems, and multi-line phone systems Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills If you are interested, please apply now!
