Job Description:
The OR Nurse is responsible for aiding surgeons in the operating
room. OR Registered Nurses will prep the room and the patient for
surgery and make positive that all medical equipment is safe and
working correctly.ResponsibilitiesOR Registered Nurse duties
include:
Monitoring the well being of the patient before, during and after
the procedure.
Predict what the surgeons need and give instruments and supplies to
them during operations.
Collecting and tracking any items needed for lab examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR Registered Nurse within
the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
