Missile Systems (NSMS) program office, part of Raytheon’s Naval
Power Business Unit, is seeking a highly motivated candidate to
serve as a Risk and Opportunity (R&O) Manager for the
Production Assurance Organization. As a Risk and Opportunity
Manager, you will work closely with the Program Managers and
cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive
predictable performance across the Obsolescence, Transition to
Production, and Capacity Increase contracts. This is a great

This is an onsite position at our Tucson, AZ facility Relocation
Assistance is NOT available currently Will You Will Do: Accountable
to drive effective risk management processes and best practices
across the Product Assurance organization. Develop
program-enhancing partnerships across the IPTs, Program Office,
Finance Document and drive R&O related actions to closure
across the program teams Support program start-up activities for
R&O management Facilitate program Risk and Opportunity
Management Boards (ROMBs) and workshops Develops inputs for
functional tracking books, EAC's metrics, procedures, and action
items follow-up Ensuring adequate risk and opportunity handling
plans are developed and progress tracked by working with owners
Create and analyze program level R&O metrics Develop
customer-facing R&O reports (e.g. CDRLs) Ensure program IMS
adequately reflects R&O mitigation/capture plans. Familiar with
Earned Value Management EVM) Review and reconcile EAC R&O data
with the program risk register Create and Maintain Risk and
Opportunity Management Plans (ROMPs) What You Will Learn: Raytheon
and RTX Business Acumen SBU & SSBU organizational structure,
responsibilities amongst the programs and the functional areas, and
deliverables Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a
University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field
and a minimum of 5 years’ experience Experience with Risk &
Opportunity Management Prior experience working and collaboration
cross functionally (ex: Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations,
Finance etc.) Qualifications We Prefer: Current in scope secret
clearance with an investigation in the last 6 years Experience with
program risks and opportunities related to margin analysis on
proposals and estimates to completion Experience with risk
management tools Demonstrated follow up/follow-thru on tasking
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to
detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional experience in program or project management and/or as
an IPT lead Experience with program schedules (IMS) and/or Schedule
Risk Assessments (SRAs) Experience with financial management (e.g.
EAC and / or EVM support) Program Management Certification Level 6

remote. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500
USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several
