Capabilities (SE&TC) organization is currently hiring a
Principal Systems Engineer – Systems Engineering Lead to join our
Tucson, AZ location on the Coyote Block 2C-Navy program. SE&TC
is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the
opportunity to design, develop and partner with multi-disciplines
to shape innovative solutions for our customers.The Principal
Systems Engineer – Systems Engineering Lead is a technical
leadership role contributing directly to the requirements
development and decomposition of complex system and subsystems as
well as developing the verification approach. The Coyote Block
2C-Navy program is a rapid development program integrating Coyote
Block 2C and associated launch systems onto US Navy ships.What You
Will Do: You will communicate to the Systems IPTL, Lead Systems
Engineer, and Program leadership to provide team status,
accomplishments, issues, and help needed.You will develop system
and subsystem requirements for complex systems by collaborating
with several IPTLs and SMEs to obtain necessary design
information.Provide SE technical expertise in development,
integration, troubleshooting and failure investigationsLead
technical discussions, and formulate plans of action by leveraging
company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering
disciplinesQualifications You Must Have: Typically requires
Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
(STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant
experienceExperience performing requirements definition,
decomposition, and changesActive and transferable U.S. government
issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S.
citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a
security clearanceQualifications We Prefer: MS or PhD in
Engineering, Computer Science, Math or PhysicsAbility to work
independently and work with SMEs, CEs, LSEs, and other program
stakeholders to make informed technical design decisions.Experience
evaluating and mitigating technical risksExperience with
requirements management and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
and associated tools (i.e. Cameo)Prior work experience giving
technical briefs or presentationsAbility to manage multiple and
competing priorities; working on rapid development programs or
fast-paced environments.Strong interpersonal and communication
skillsFamiliarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and
proceduresFamiliarity with DoD customer infrastructure and Systems
Engineering Product Development Cycle; preference for US Navy

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative
