Client Services Correspondence and Editing Specialist

This position will respond to emails, letters and other issues
directed towards the Client Services Department. This position must
use creative relevant, engaging, writing techniques to provide
responses to concerns, questions and other Client Services related
publications. The use of multiple relevant platforms will be used
such as websites, letters, emails, texts, online chat and other
types of media to create and disseminate information for the Client
Services Department. As a Client Services Correspondence and
Editing Specialist, you will:
--- Ensure the quality, consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of
department resolutions and client correspondence.
--- Assist the Client Services Department, Client Services
Leadership, Client Services Contractor Management, Client Services
Representatives and other personnel in drafting, editing and
responding to client correspondence in the preferred tone, style
and protocols to meet departmental standards.
--- Partner closely with department representatives to generate
accurate content that effectively portrays the specific voice,
mission and corrective action process.
--- Collaborate with referral departments to develop concise,
reader appropriate responses, ensuring all questions have been
answered and requests for information addressed.
--- Reply in a timely manner to phone, written and in-person
requests for information.
--- Identify errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, verb tense
and format, ambiguous wording, and inappropriate sentence
--- Routinely communicate with the appropriate contacts to seek
clarification and coordinate revisions.
--- Determine effective ways to deliver key messages, consult and
recommend ways to improve communication and enhance quality of
--- Assist in editing and other writing task and projects as
directed by the Client Services RTA Manager
--- Perform analyses to optimize content effectiveness and report
on impact/effectiveness of communications.
--- Complete other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills &

and database applications as well as Microsoft Office, including
Excel, Word, and Outlook. Additional Responsibilities:

and industry best practices.
--- Performs all other duties as assigned. Minimum
--- Bachelor---s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or
a related field.
--- Two to five years of experience in professional copywriting,
content development, or public relations.
--- Experience translating specialized content into readable,
user-friendly language for client.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience
will be considered. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical Demands: This position has a sedentary physical demand,
exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible
amount of force frequently. This position is required to
continuously sit, talk, hear, see and operate controls with
Environmental Factors: This position works in an indoor office
environment with a moderate level of office noise.
Equipment Operated: Personal computer, printer, copier, fax and
phone equipment. Duties not listed in this position description may
be required of the employee at the discretion of management. The
incumbent may delegate all or any of his/her duties to qualified
personnel; however, such delegation does not relieve him/her of
overall responsibility and accountability for the successful
conduct of those duties.
