an organization and lead a dynamic program department. The
Executive Director is responsible for the strategic development,
implementation and evaluation of programs and sports camps while
maintaining a supportive and collaborative work environment. The
Director will hire, train, develop, and supervise program staff to
ensure Company has a professional and dedicated program team. The
Executive Director ensures that the quality of our programs aligns
with the mission, vision, and values of the Company. The position
requires strong visionary leadership and professional demeanor
within the organization and in the community. Applicants must have
business skills and be business minded. The ability to be assertive
and hold direct reports to a high standard is important. Duties and
Responsibilities All responsibilities listed below are essential to
the satisfactory performance of this position. • Oversee the
development of goals for the department. Meeting and exceeding
determined outcomes. • Ensure that the Company is an agency leader
in curriculum, evaluation and reporting • Develop a professional
team that ensures program excellence • Hire, train, develop,
evaluate and supervise the program team to achieve goals •
Participate in the grant process providing data and language as
appropriate • Provide weekly updates to the Executive Director
sharing successes and challenges • Ensure the Company and the staff
are a number and outcome driven agency \• Conduct yearly staff
evaluations • Create and manage the program budget to ensure that
expenditures are meeting the budgetary guidelines • Develop and
manage new and existing community partnerships and collaborations •
Display and model strong organization and time management skills to
manage workflow • Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and
adapt to changing environments • Maintain relationships with
community nonprofit, governmental agencies or organizations who
also serve our populations • Demonstrate the ability to work
effectively with people by promoting a positive working environment
through a spirit of cooperation and positive reactions in meeting
goals, changes and conflict resolution • Serve as one of the
representative/spokespersons at community functions, meeting and
collaborative efforts • Manage in-depth data collection and
analysis systems that can be used to pull grant reports • Handle
additional tasks as assigned by the Executive Director
Qualifications: Qualifications include: • Dedication to the mission
• Five years’ experience in the field of nonprofit or related
business • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills •
Experience in public media and/or non-profits a plus • Demonstrated
organizational, time management and decision-making skills •
Proficient in Microsoft office programs • Understanding of board
relations and communications necessary • Knowledge of Salesforce or
database experience • Comfortable with public speaking and
presentations • Experience supervising staff and managing an office
• Flexibility to accept other job-related duties as assigned •
Manage complex systems related to data analysis and reporting •
Work closely with Executive Director towards the successful
execution of the organization's mission • Must be able to implement
a playful philosophy & methodology
