Job Description Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process weekly payrolls for assigned groups, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Audit and verify timekeeping records for compliance with company and union standards Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and process adjustments as needed Cross-check other team members payroll entries for accuracy Collaborate with union representatives and management to ensure adherence to union contracts Prepare wires and check requests for weekly, monthly, and quarterly union dues, deductions, and benefit contributions Manage payroll garnishments, including setup, cancellation, and correspondence with agencies Support internal and external audits with required documentation and reports Maintain organized payroll records and filing systems Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate funding, direct deposits, and general ledger reconciliation Update spreadsheets for payroll-related payments and disbursements Verify and log manual checks for accuracy and validity Minimum Requirements 3 years of experience in a high-volume, full-cycle, multi-state payroll environment Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour Search managed by: Megan Clark Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
