Job Description Job Description Salary: Well established Tempe, AZ CPA firm is looking for a tax manager with previous public accounting experience. Applicants must be a CPA with extensive knowledge of preparation of individual and business tax returns. We use QuickBooks, CCH Axcess Tax, Prosystem Fx Engagement, Microsoft office products and Fixed Assets CS. Responsibilities: Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines Develop and sustain excellent client relationships Review and supervise the preparation of business and individual tax returns Assist and track progress on all tasks associated with engagements Mentor and train team members Work directly with 3rd parties such as attorneys, brokers, IRS, etc. Billing Conduct annual team performance reviews Promote operational efficiency Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting and EA or CPA License preferred Proficient in business and individual taxation Excellent verbal and written skills Strong organizational techniques Capable of managing multiple client engagements in addition to completing tasks related to business development Comfortable with preparation and leading of team meetings Knowledge of multi-state taxation preferred
